How it works
- Within 24-72 hours after ordering you will receive an activation link for your e-Gift Card by email
- The activation link will be valid for six (6) months and cannot be renewed
- The e-Gift Card can be redeemed online and in-store
- Once activated, the e-Gift Card does not expire
Redeem Online
- Visit www.macys.com and click "Apply Gift Cards" when entering payment method at checkout
- Enter the first 15-digits into the "Card Number" field and the last 4-digits into the "CID” field
- Enter the Security verification characters and then click “Apply Gift Card”
Redeem In-store
- Shop at any Macy’s or Macy’s Backstage store in the US
- Present the printed Gift Card including the barcode to a Macy's Associate at checkout
- After thorough security checks, the e-Gift Card activation link will be sent by email within 24-72 hours
- In case you have not received the email within the expected delivery time, please also check your spam- or junk folder
- You will not receive a physical card ; make sure to provide a valid email address during checkout
- The activation link will be valid for six (6) months and cannot be renewed
- Once activated, the e-Gift Card does not expire
- The e-Gift Card may not be redeemed for cash (except as required by law) or applied as payment or credit to any credit card account
- Lost or stolen e-Gift Cards will only be replaced with proof of purchase and only for the value shown on our records
- Macy’s reserves the right to not honor cards obtained from unauthorized sellers, including internet auction sites
